TM 2 piece hop up replacement

I'm trying to kind of get back into airsoft and my TM M4 S-System has a broken stock hopup. I'm not sure if I should either upgrade to a metal body and use a spare CA 1 piece metal hopup I have lying around or just get a replacement for my 2 piece hopup.

Problem is I can't seem to find a retailer that sells them :/ Or at least that won't charge 40$ shipping.

Any help would be appreciated.

If you have a metal 1 piece hopup handy, you probably should use that;

I don't know much about TM's stock 2-piece hopup unit but in general a 2-piece unit is most likely to leak air, so I wouldn't be surprised if the CA would perform better than the stock one.

Also, plastic hopups have some flex compare to the metal ones, which could cause some leaks as well under certain stress.

There's a reason why most if not all after market hopup units are 1-piece metal, I'd say!

The thing is that the lower receiver is made to accept a 2 piece, a 1 piece won't fit at all.

You can modify your TM lower receiver to accept a 1-piece hop-up.

You're welcome.
