New AK Rail
I'm not normally a fan of AK rails, but this is pretty damned sexy IMHO;
http://soldiersystems.net/2013/01/18...-krebs-custom/ Hope they make an airsoft version, or heck that the real version is cheap enough to throw on a GBBR AKM. |

That's uglier than the ak itself.

Thats the beauty of it isnt it?
looks good i think, as far as ak's are concerned , they are not designed to be a prety rifle they are designed to be functional and durable. I think this would add to the functionality of it. Good find!

Nice, looks like another project will be coming along...I rather have the real thing and mod it to fit than purchasing airsoft crap....

Came across other photos this morning
Looks kinda Mk14 ish. It uses the Keymod Modular Direct Attachment System, which allows you to attach KeyMod accessories (including rails). AFAIK Keymod was developed by N̶o̶v̶e̶s̶k̶e̶ VLTOR.

I thknks those lil keyhole slots u see are for attaching more rails like on a daniel defense mfr.
U can move those 3 rails anyplace u like on the mfr. Not sure why they dont show it with more rails tho.

Keymod attachment systems seems to be a new trend in rail modularity:

Here we go. I read that it uses standard keymod parts. So all the rails and such they offer. Here is a pic with some additional rails on it
Just like the mfr it is nice n light and allows u to only attach as much rail as u need zo u dont gotta lug extra weight for no reason And yes all the cool kids are using keymod type rail systems theese days lol. Itz the new magpul or multicam lol. The m4 one is nice lookin to and save 6oz or weight over the simaler 12 inch rail systems by voltor Vltor VIS-KM (Keymod) - official release of information - M4Carbine.net Forums
