New Socom 1911 Mags Not Filling
Hey gang. I just bought a brand new Socom Gear 1911 Punisher, two mags and a metal propane adaptor. I can only fill the mags for a half second before propane stops flowing. The gun fires great, but only for three shots (the first two kick hard, the third shot is vert weak).
Im using a new disposable camping propane cylinder from Canadian Tire. I've un-screwed and re-screwed the propane adaptor and tried filling the mags by pressing on them gently, firmly, giggling them around and doing a rain dance, they just won't fill beyond a half second to a second of gas. |

The fill valve on WE/SOCOM Gear 1911 mags are on a slight angle in relation to the baseplate. Get a flashlight and take a close look, and make sure you your fill adapter is lined up properly. It takes some getting used to at first but once you figure out the angle you need to hold the mag at it's easy.

Did it come with an adapter?
The mags look like my Wilson ones from the same folks and I have to use an included adapter in-between the mag and propane adapter. It's a little silver metal funnel/pipe.
