Best precision low velocity airsoft pistol
Hi everyone,
I need your opinion. Does anybody know who makes the best precision low velocity (FPS) airsoft pistol available IN Canada & legal for Canadians? I want to do some indoor target shooting for the winter season, and I don't need a pistol that will shoot all over the place.... I need to know that if I aim at the bullseye...that IT WILL hit the bullseye. Any help and info will be appreciated. Thank you! :-) Mario |

There aren't going to be any airsoft pistols that meet your criteria since airsoft guns can only be so accurate, and if you want accuracy, you should get yourself a pellet gun.
However if you want extremely good airsoft pistols that have good accuracy, best resale value, and the most aftermarket parts for upgrades/modifications, you should try the Tokyo Marui Hi-capa series. They're hard to match. You won't be told where to buy one until you get age verified. The age-verified classifieds on this site have TM pistols up pretty much every day of the entire year. Crazy deals to be had.

I don't know what fps is good for you but I guess around the 300fps* range. Check out Tokyo Marui GBB they have a couple pistols you can look at in some retailers, but they don't suite your ''I need to know that if I aim at the bullseye...that IT WILL hit the bullseye.'' Type of accuracy. You can probably get close to that type of accuracy using 6.01 or 6.03 Barrels with really high quality bbs...Cough...Cough* BBBastards!!
Also think about the other expenses such us bbs, upgrades and also if you are going to game it, Gear. |

Thanks Andre, I meant low velocity because it is for indoor shooting and I don't need the plastic BB bouncing at incredible speed all over the place should I miss the target. (I don't need the BBs to go through the walls ;-) I don't want a rifle or machine gun either. Just a simple pistol that will shoot "as accurately" as possible for an airsoft gun.

"Tokyo Marui Hi-capa series" OMG!! just checked them out. They are super nice looking but way too realistic looking. I will never be able to get something like this across the Canadian Border??!...or is it available somewhere in Canada?

How much are you looking to spend?
Do you want a blow-back pistol? Do you care if it's a realistic? (not clear and metal) Will you need extra magazines? Propane or CO2? Are you looking for a particular model of pistol? (Glock,1911 etc) TM makes the best airsoft pistols IMO but they're plastic in stock form. KWA makes the next best thing, they come full metal. Both of these brands are way more than is needed for simple indoor plinking. Most pistols you buy, even some springers, will be accurate at the indoor ranges you'll be dealing with. |

Hi Kozzie,
I want to spend something like 100. to $200. max. Realistic would be nice but harder to get in Canada or so it seems. Electric or spring loaded (trying to keep it cost efficient). I don't really need extra magazines. BTW WHO is "TM"? Thanks! __________________________________________________ _____________ Quote:

Get a $300 limit and you might get decent pistol. $200 pistol you get what you paid for. Also you need to fill out location. Don't ask where to find it, you need to get Av'ed Finally this is general discussion thread, prepared to get flamed (Post in newbie section to avoid it) Last edited by ILLusion; November 26th, 2012 at 15:03.. |

TM = Tokyo Marui
Realistic blowback pistols are in country waiting to be had, you will need to be AV'd before you are told where to buy them by anyone other than google. Most of them though are at the very top of or out of your price range. If it doesn't matter how it looks then crossman makes some decent co2 jobbies for just plinking, you can paint them if you want. Spring pistols require you to cock the spring before each shot, co2 allow you to fire semi-auto. Electric pistols are much less common. **EDIT: Quote:

"bb bukakke" KING!

even at 300 fps, the BB is going to go where it wants within about 30 feet. I had a trap for 320-340ish fps and bbs would hit and come out almost all the time. You need a big box to catch everything and a target recessed into that box... and your box needs to be strong enough that the BBs won't eventually get through. even 4 or 5 layers of cardboard box won't be enough. Don't use wood either... I'm learning about that one in my chrono box. :P

You'll definitely want some sort of bb trap for shooting indoors. Mine is made of plywood and lined with old work shirts. I milled slots for a clipboard to slide into the front of the box. I cut the centre out of the clipboard and put paper targets on it. |
