Recoil Resistant Aimpoint CompM4 Replica
I have a WE M4 GBBR upgraded with a steel bolt carrier and real steel buffer. It's caused an EoTech replica to completely go tits up, and while I like iron sights, I'm looking to see if there are any recoil resistant Comp M4 sights... I know Huang has Comp M2s that are recoil resistant, but I really prefer the M4 model (Just a personal preference.)
Thanks! |

Won't get any more recoil resistant than a true Aimpoint product...

Well $800 is a bit steep for an optic, even a real one... I could get a RS EoTech for 445 + Tax

Look at the cost of the Trijicon ACOG's if you think $800 is a bit steep.
The price of those will blow your tit's off!

If you don't get a lemon, it works wonder for GBBR. They looks POS compared to real M4. I have both. (M4 replica and M4s) If you're going for Army look, M2, M3 and mainly M4 are the way to go. If you're going LE PRO is a good choice. If you don't care, get PRO. |

PRO doesn't look physically different to M2 or M3, aside from the laser etching....works with any mount for M2/M3....throw a rubber cover on it and no one would even know the difference...

Go buy a primary arms red dot. Looks pretty much like an CompM4 but unlike other clones can actually take a beating.

Sightmark makes pretty good ones. I run one on my WE M4 and it's rocking.

If you aren't willing to spent the coin on a real Aimpoint you can always go for a Vortex Strikefire red dot only. It has the same look as an aimpoint m2/m3 and will take the recoil no problem.
Edit: Changed link to the red dot only listed on Millbrook, apparently it doesn't have the brightness problem like the red/green like kullwarrior mentioned. Props for pointing that out. Last edited by OM3GA; November 8th, 2012 at 23:16.. Reason: changed link |

That is unfortunate but you get what you pay for I guess. Unfortunate too because vortex scopes are nice for what they cost. I wonder if the Strikefire in bright red only has the same issue of brightness.

Thanks guys, I think after all is said and done I'll wait out for a RS EoTech 512 or Aimpoint Pro. For now I'll save my money and bide my time with a ACM EoTech 552 which my friend gave to me... it seems to be holding up after 100 rounds, so that's good.
