SAS's prehistoric tactical: please identify this foregrip

hello all
can anyone identify the foregrip used on the gun on the right side of the pic?
it looks like a drill handle doesn't it ?

You know what it looks like?

It looks like a pair of Locking Pliers... Which would actually be really effective...

the white pixels look more like a metal part to me, the kind you find on this drill's front handle - it's the early eighties, Ak grips didn't exist.

This photo has been brought up before on either Arnies or UKAZ and the general concensus was that it was off of a drill. Not exactly concrete but I hope it helps.

It looks like its that same guy again, this picture makes me think twice about hammer drill thing. I have a hammer drill at home and a classic army mp5, I do not think there is a solid way of attaching that without damaging anything. then again im known to be 90% wrong LOL

not giant, D-sized.the regular size in 1980.mini flashlights are a recent thing.

It's just a strap that wraps around the foregrip; easy peasy.
