where is everyone getting these 360 fps pistols?/is 380 acceptable for cqb?

I have been wanting to game for a while now, and I have no idea where everyone is getting their gear for CQB. The field limits around here all seem to be 360 fps. Every pistol that ive looked at from kjw, kwa, WE, pretty much everybody, minimum is 370 fps, usually closer to 380-400... I see everyone always talking about how they use these pistols, is the fps rate more flexible on pistols? I got a KWA m93r recently because I couldnt find anything that shot lower then 380 anyway, am I gonna get flack for this? I cant imagine that nobody else is gaming with KWA pistols in toronto...

I put a m100 in my G&G SIG 553 max hoping to play cqb but i dont have a crony and other peoples who did the same thing seemed to have theirs settle around 360-380... everyone said to use m100s for cqb, but now im wondering if I should have gone with m90, I havent seen anything stock that seems to fire around 360, I really wanna play a legit game and I dont wanna get sent home after paying for my first game if I find out that its too hot and I cant even use my pistol as a backup.

Toronto players, your feedback would be appreciated.

Put a m90 in to be sure to fall under 350 cap. Springs were originally rated in relation to old stock mechboxes...and a lot of AEGs come upgraded already with bearing spring guides, bearing piston heads and tightbores....resulting in higher velocities.

Stock TM pistols shoot around 300 fps out of the box

They could be using c02 Mags for their pistols and maybe the chrono is paint ball type, I heard that it give a higher fps rating, leading to your sig going over the limit.
Do the coke can test to see, not accurate but gives you a base to start.

Just buy a m90 spring and put it in if you are really eager to play CQB or just go to a field with limit of 400 fps.

I'm at yonge and lawrence, I dont drive so I'm stuck with CQB fields that are local, so im kind of stuck. The c02 pistols ive seen dont fire under 400, I thought co2 was considered stronger anyway? I like TM but I cant justify paying 350 for a pistol, especially one thats made of plastic, even though I hear they have amazing hop-ups, I just dont like the weight/feel of the plastic pistols, but I cant find anything else under 360... I guess I missed WE, I always thought they shot hotter, I dont pay much attention to them to be honest, they look pretty ugly to me.

KJW pistols shoot under 350 using Propane. Most retailers crono them on CO2 to get them shooting legal to sell.

Tokyo Marui makes some of the most solid, reliable, and accurate pistols ever. Out of the box, they shoot about 300 FPS. Approximate price of a new one is $360, but well worth it.

Yes - definite difference between the CO2, and the green-gas/propane mags. I just picked up a new KJW M9 full metal, it came with the CO2 mag which happened to be leaking out of the box. I didn't shed a tear when i exchanged it for a green-gas/propane mag to resolve the issue. I don't need a pistol shooting as hot as my rifle.

My Cansoft KJW M9 shot 345fps on a fresh mag of propane - this FM KJW M9 shoots 330fps on the same mags.

basically any pistol not shooting C02 wont go over 350, stock pistols at least
brands like KSC, KWA, Marui, KJ, KCW, and even china brands wont shoot over that, if u can't justify buying a plastic marui pistol then go buy a KSC or KWA they are full metal and shoot under 350, maybe not the M93R but why not try the USP series or even KWA's version of the Glock the ATP

If not go full on KSC or KJW for a Full metal pistol that shoots propane under 350
