Dan Wesson 6 inch airsoft--Silver
After seeing decent reviews from this forum and elsewhere, I finally got it.
I am not an avid air softer and have a Socom Genesis also. Not likely to get more but since I have the DW 8" 4.5 steel bb model- just had to have the 6" silver- great fit and finish! I am limited to 14 feet for target shooting, about 20 targets @ 12 shots per target using .25g and 28g. BB Bastards. An NcStar D4S MRS sight was mounted ( not the same silver/chrome finish as the pistol but looks better than a black sight). So, for my needs, this DW is almost as accurate as the 4.5 bb version which I also shoot at 14 feet. I get 130 accurate shots from a CO2 cartridge, compared to 60 accurate shots with the steel bb DW. I have found that the .25g gave tighter groups than 28g. My backstop is an arrow stop board from Walmart (6 layers of compressed dense white substance-1 1/2 inches total thickness. It traps most bbs and when one area gets worn out toward the back, just move your small target to a fresh area. For $33.00 this would last for 1,000 or more shots. |

The gun is nice, I saw Kokanee's at Noches Cubanas and it was a showstopper. I've been thinking about getting the 6" myself.
As for the backstop though lol... $33 really? Newspaper and cardboard box works fine and is pretty much free.. |

I love mine, was shooting 500fps when I got it though but they are really simple to drop, just have to shorten one piece inside the assembly. I adviser everybody to be careful about that though, they are too hot to use at games as a side arm in their stock form.
