Info on the King Arms Full Metal M4A1?

Hey there, I'm considering getting the King Arms M4, but I wanna know more about it. Anyone have one that they can give me some info on? I just basically want to know about how tight the groupings are, how steady the stock is, how it feels. Things like that.

No, I don't think anyone has one yet. They are pretty new and not very popular. Maybe buy one and let us know?

go to the dr corner to learn more about them. i am not a fan of them at all, friend of mine owns a store and stopped carrying them because of the returns but bang for the buck they are metal, not a great finish but still metal. everyone will give you an opinion, and this is just mine, but you will have to do your own research and judge for yourself.

The general consensus here is that they are a good gun because
1. they are metal 2. the parts are interchangeable with TM parts and are therefore readily available. 3. An m4 is a good starter platform both for versatility and upgradeability. 4. a m4 is an "easy" gun to work on, getting to the mechbox only takes about 5 to 10 minutes. I have 3 friends with them and 2 have been troublefree, the third one .... not so much.

I'm going to have to say that V3 AK gearboxes are easy as fuck to work on. But that said I do own like 3 AR's and most people are more familiar with V2 gearboxes than anything.

I own a KA M4A1. Was my starter gun a month ago. Was solid until I decided to downgrade the spring. Been having trouble getting it back in shape since (20hrs). I would highly recommend getting something with a V3 mechbox but for the price I paid (239$ at toronto airsoft) I couldn't beat the King Arms. I was very tempted by the WE M4A1 AEG as a starter aswell but went with the king Arms because it seems to be the only gun people recommend on this forum for newbs.

so that is 33% chance of getting a lemon. not good. i wonder how the WE AEG will hold up. personally i think someone just getting into airsoft needs to dip to the hip and get a reliable gun. one that will work good right out of the box and save themselves some heartache. I would never show up to a game with just a KA in hand. I just dont trust them.

It's solid, and feels great. However; it'll still need some upgrading to get good grouping, and distance. Start with a shredder bucking, and hard hop-up rubber.

I like the Colt M4A1 by JG. You dont get the locking fake bolt, but it is cheaper. The ones i have sold locally are top shooters at our local field. Outrange most guns right out of the box for some reason. Plus, I had one apart and it had the heaviest metal body I have ever seen on an airsoft M4.
