G&P Replica SPEAR Armor

Has anyone tried G&Ps replica SPEAR armor? I was kind of interested in one, wondering if any of the geardos here have a first hand experience.

I have some questions, whats the overall feel of the item? is there wooland color normal, or is it off tone? as well, the armor appears to be padded, but can the padding be removed and replica SAPI plates be added in?

thats it for now, give me your thoughts and comments on the rig if you can, thanks.

Hey Yuxi, I had one for a few weeks, and I have to say it's very nice. Woodland colour is right on, quality is comparable to their FSBE if you've seen that, it's pretty nice. Foam is also removable as far as I can remember.

If the quality is anything comparable to their FSBE (what I own, never seen their SPEAR in person tho) then it is nice.

I have worn one at a Hong Kong retailer, the quality and materials used are simply outstanding.

Yuxi, I own the Spear Vest and the Spear LBV rig both from G&P. They are both awesome! The camo colour is right on, the quality is excellent, and you can put 3 double mag pouches sideways right across the front of the armour in addition to whatever other rig you are using to carry ammo. If you are like me and like the idea of body armour, go with the G&P Spear body armour you will not regret it. Even think about getting the LBV rig as well - it is totally modular, it comes with all the pouches and it works awesome in conjuction with the body armour. Hope this helps.

Yuxi, I've seen the gear that Deathblow wears and it is sweet, definately Hi-quality like he says.
