sig 552/553 handguard rail size?

I've got a G&G sig 553 max and I've been trying to find the handguard size for the set that G&G offers, anybody been able to find a good rail set or know what sizes to get?

I've never bought seperate rails before so I'm not sure exactlly where to start measuring and stuff, cant seem to find any info on the sites selling the set, and I cant find any that are shipping to canada.

any help guys? Also, anyone know whether MAG brand midcaps distort the feeding tube?

Are you talking about an RIS system to replace the handguards, or bolt-on rails for the stock handguards?

Hes probably talking about bolt ons. My 553 didn't come with them either. Generic rails will fit, as they have multiples holes to choose from. G36C ones may also work, but I haven't tried.

I cant seem to find any generic rails for the smaller side rails, I guess I could use a standard for the bottom one, i noticed theres is thicker as it goes up to keep the rail straight, hopefully it wont cause an issue using stanard plates

Question about compatible mags. They have ICS Real Cap mags for the Sig. Compatible with G&G?

No, ICS Sigs are different. You need TM/JG/G&G compatible mags.

I hear ak pouches work well. Also open topped M4 ones like the "shingle" type. Then of you really wanna open up options you could remove the tabs and use most m4 pouches.
