Looking for Primary Recommendations
Hey there,
Been about a year since I played a game and looking to get back into the groove of things. I dont have a primay anymore and im looking for some recommendations on what to look for and stay away from. I have heard that for like an MP5 to go G&G and for M4 King Arms. However im curious about Classic Army. I thought they were good but i was told they have crap internals. Im looking at spending no more than $500 for a primary. Not looking to be spoon fed just looking for some recommendations based on facts and or experiences.

If you have only one airsoft, imo it should be an aeg from the armalite family like an M4. Dont buy short or long guns like MP5K and M16. Stay with models that use regular M4 mags. Recommended list by preference. 1. VFC (I have a KAC PDW aeg), always my first choice for stock aeg's. 2. Classic Army Proline (not the sportline). (used to have one) 3. King Arms (used to have one) Not recommended: 1. G&G (always broken or you pay to much for the MAX range) 2. Jing gong (Chinese for "Idiot trap") 3. Moste AEG's that cost under 350$. They are not bargains, you get what you pay for. Only exceptions that I know off are King arms Thompsons and M4's wich can be found under 350$ and will give you good quality. |

I have a friend who has a bunch of 8 to 10 year old classic army AEG's And they are still working fine , Most have had the spring changed and never been opened since. Based on that I bought a CA army SLR 105A1 ( this is not the sportline) This gun is beautiful and consistent. The only issue that i have had is that G&P mags need to be filed to fit. I also have had some experience with the King Arms M4's. Two team members bought them -one is working flawlessly, the other had a piston head failure at about 200 bb's. IN my opinion your golden with either!

Well shit Garcia its been a while.
I'd say pick yourself up a KA M4 if you still want an AR platform like your old gun. Either that or a VFC PDW. Maybe check out KWA ARs too, they seem to be really popular in the states. |

Thanks guys appreciate it! This gives me a decent idea now .
Btw Najohn you going to Rhino? I'm trying to gear up for it ahha. I already setup my vacation days to go lol. -Edit: So I was looking at the classifieds at some VFC Sopmod M4s does anyone have experience with these? Based on Skull's post he rated them the highest in his preference. Is it worth the $600+ price tag? Last edited by M.Garcia; June 18th, 2012 at 17:59.. |

Looking at getting the KA M4 being sold by retailer at a very good price. Did some searching on the forums as well and I think my mind is made up!
