Just out of curiosity, are the mags for the WE M4 longer than normal?

I just received my CQBR and happened to have one of my AEG mags laying next to the WE and the WE seems to be about an inch longer.

I don't have a real 5.56 STANAG magazine to compare the two with.

GBBR mags by nature are longer than AEG mags because it has to reach up higher into the gun to integrate with the rest of the system. The AEG mags don't have to reach up as high, the hop-up chamber reaches further down in the magwell area. real steel mags reach up even further, so order of length from longest to shortest:
real steel > GBBR > AEG
