Propane with TM Glock 26?

Hey, I have a TM G26 with upgraded metal outer barrel & recoil guide, but stock TM plastic slide.

Will using propane instead of duster break the parts in my gun, or will they be able to take the punishment of propane's extra 50-or-so psi?

I would get a metal slide. Also would need a harder recoil spring. I assume an upgraded recoil spring rod would just be needed for a heavier weight slide (ie. Metal).Your eating it, but your not eating the cake with it too...

That aside... yeah it would work for a while. If you plan on getting a metal slide down the road, givver hell... But dont post and cry that you chipped both your front teeth off the ejecting broken slide, LOL.

I have a TM G26, Jackals had it before, and he ran propane. I run propane.
I'd say over 2500 rounds +++ no problems, I did however drop the gun with the slide back, and cracked the slide (fell onto a rock) (different story all together.)

No problems. That said, If its above 20 or so degrees, use duster - when its hot outside, too much pressure seems to cause alot of issues with a stock valve/hammer.

Someone else had a G26 slide crack in a winter game... So if your planning on playing during the winter months (at least outdoors) upgrade that sucker

I've only use'd propane (green gas) in my old G26, not the slightest problem at all, and god damn did it have crisp blow back.

Lisa & Katey have it now and don't think they've had any problems with it either.

Safe to say the TM G26 is propane friendly out of the box. I also used propane a fair bit in the summer, bloody hot out and no problems either.

I'm going to take my chances and buy a propane adaptor so I can save some $ and have that crisp blowback all you propane-users boast about.
