TM AK-47 Bolt
Just curious if the bolt on the TM AK-47 goes back only half way or all the way back like on the real steel version?
From all the review pictures that showed the hop up adjustment or just the bolt, it was always only pulled back about half way. http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/revie...otos/hopup.jpg http://www.airsoftcore.com/files/Ima...ews/AK47_2.jpg http://www.airsoftretreat.com/featur...7/100_0945.jpg If it can actually go back all the way, anyone got a pic? Thanks! Cheers, Alex |

Tried both of my AKs, and they go as far as seen in the first link. No need to go farther anyways ... You could probably by taking the spring out on the rod of the bolt, but the bolt wouldn't probably stay in place.

Thanks guys...
Any updates on making AEGs to have Blow back? Ive read that thread in which some guy modified his SIG to have Blowback, would be awesome with an AK :-P "There is no need to go farther" there is no need to have the gun in real colors, why not pink? I think you know what Im saying - Im looking for realism! Does anyone know if the FTC AK-47 bolt move all the way back? while im at it: Is there any simple way to slow down the ROF to a more realistic 600rpm? except for playing with a dying battery ofcource Thanks! Cheers, Alex |

If you want to slow down the ROF, purchase some torque up gears. Some could suggest using a lower MAH battery aswell, but IMO thats not the greatest idea.
Prometheus Triple Torque Up Gears: http://www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper...89c1ba523a227d (just gears) http://www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper...etheus%20Parts (full set) These will dramatically slow down the ROF and are normally used to lessen the load on the battery and motor when a high velocoty spring is used. You will get a much lower ROF and longer battery life. As far as a blowback AK goes, it can be done as far as I have heard. Send AGIT-PROP a PM in regards to that issue, (I have seen his GBB M4 in action) so he might be able to help you out with that one. |

Or get any of the NON High cycle gears.
Sexiness here.. http://www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper...hoenix%20Parts Features quoted from PHOENIX: 1)Shock absorbable construction makes Gears,Piston, and Bearing will last longer 10x more 2)No trouble on Over 300,000 BB's shooting test 3)Keeping an incredible durability without any modifications 4)Equipped automatic Shim adjustment it easily can be installed gears set in properly without mess of it 5)Reinforced Steel can be made extremely precise and Incredible long lasting durability gear set 6)Their teeth of Bevel gear are curved shape by cutting obliquely on the angular faces of the gears that make them spiral like helical gear mean gears rotates extremely smooth without unwanted noises in operation ==== i ordered these and they should be coming within the next week PHOENIX High Protection Super Powered Gear Set ( Limited Version ) US$108.00 =) then ill combine it with parts from prometheus, km, and systema for the rest of the internals. that makes one hawt mechbox =P (an expensive one too)
