G&G AEG's
Hey guys,
I have been looking online at a website that has mostly G&G guns, How much of a difference does barrel length make? I'm looking for a 'best bang for the buck' type of gun that has good ROF and also good accuracy at fair distances as well. Every review I read everybody seems to be happy with their gun, but I have no clue what type of setting they play in...I am really wanting to get into this as I am ex Army and always loved playing paintball when I was younger. Cheers, thanks for any suggestions! |

Before someone tell it , get AV. They say that in the classified you gonna find the best bang for your buck.

There is very little difference between stock airsoft guns of any type as far as accuracy is concerned.
As for an upgraded gun, in general, the longer the barrel the more consistent groupings you'll get. What site are you looking at?

Yes, everyone will tell you to get age verified. See the link for details on that. http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=77601
Airsoft prices in Canada are going through a dramatic change at the moment so I don't know if you'll get the same deals in the classifieds as you used to. Check out www.revolutionairsoft.com they are getting a huge selection of guns in the next week or two and their prices will be the best around. I'm not an expert but if you value a good quality gun out of the box then it's absolutely worth it to spend a bit more up front and get something better than G&G. I just bought a KWA M4 and it's top notch. |

From what I've heard the King Arms model is arguably the best "bang for the buck" M4 on the market at the moment.
Having said that, Classic Army and VFC make some pretty excellent models as well. G&P often has amazing externals, but will require a bit of internal work.

I was checking out buyairsoft.com
I have looked into getting Age Verified but currently in Comox, the closest somebody goes is Parksville so obviously something that needs commuting for both parties. Really wish I was mainland...it looks pretty big out in the valley, and to the above poster..thanks for the website URL, i'll def check that out and look into some of the above mentioned brands! |

Ignore byairsoft. Their shit is overpriced. You can get better guns elseware for cheaper.

There are about a dozen stores in Canada that offer better deals, but you need to get AV'd before we all start giving you advice on that. I expect this thread to get locked and/or moved because of the links that have already been provided.

Is there any way to get Age Verified via scan/email or even Skype?

Nope. Fill in your geographical details and people can point you in the right direction.

@ Diesel; If you're ever on the mainland in Richmond one of the AV reps "Optix" owns a store; Airsoft Gear. I know it's already a 2 hour drive from Comox to Nanimo ferry terminal plus ferry ride then from Horseshoe bay to Richmond so yeah.... But I encourage you to check it out if you're ever on the mainland even if you don't buy anything since just physically seeing things is a great step.

Why is it as soon as G&G came up I know it would be Buyairsoft. Yea FYI they pick and choose which reviews come up on their site.

Not sure how accurate this is but... Last year I was told by a retailer that Buy Airsoft secured an exclusive distributor contract with G&G in Canada. There are a few other retailers offering G&G but you don't see prices lower than BuyAirsoft or a wider selection. So since their prices are kinda high and they're supposedly the distributor, G&G hasn't become a popular brand in Canada like it has in the US or in the UK (just look at YouTube..).

I have yet to see G&G Combat Machines here in Canada, which seem to be a really popular brand (kind of how the KA M4 is becoming the "go to" M4 for new guys in Canada).
G&G guns still cost more than they're worth in Canada, and you can get better for equivalent prices. Like this: https://www.buyairsoft.ca/rifles/ele...4-ebr-max.html $1,000 for a G&G M14? Yea, keep dreaming Buyairsoft.
