FYI just so you know why your downgrading.

The higher the weight of the BB the slower it'll travel. Field limits (not goals, limits) are often 400fps with .20 bbs hop up off.

Now a .25 might drop the FPS to 400 if its shooting 420 with .20 but it will hit harder than 400fps with .20 which can be unsafe. So .20 400fps is your limit (not goal).

I have a STS M100 with Tightborre 247mm and ARS hopup rubber in my Velocity arms V4A1 and I am at 359 to 362fps with .2g. I highly recommend you to go with a M90. Better be on the safe than on the limit, and 320 fps is a good range to be in at CQB.

+1 Less strain on the internals as well which equals longer life.

Yea if you want CQB velocity the M90 is the safe bet. An M100 will likely put you right around the limit so it may or may not be over 350 FPS. The M110 would be my choice for an outdoor gun. In my experiences it usually gives you 380 FPS.

However, for now and the future, upgrades and parts make a huge difference in FPS. For example, I have a DMR with a M110 spring that shoots 430 FPS, and had an M120 in another gun shooting 420 FPS.

For a new guy worry about springs for now. Leave the internals till something breaks then work on it. Unless you want to have it done by a gun doc but then your slapping on extra cash. or you learn how to upgrade yourself. Youtube Version 2 mechbox airsoft

I think there is a PEQ box by King Arms that holds a 9.6v. That's about your only choice for an RIS and no lipo.
