Skeleton Sidearms SS357 Magnum

I've been trying to find some more information about this pistol. Haven't seen many detailed reviews for it and was hoping to find if anyone might have some first hand experience with it?

Apparently the SS magnums are just WinGun rebrands.

WinGun 4 inch revolver:

For a plinker, sure.
It may not last long though.

Shooting in the ~430's, as a sidearm, I doubt any readily available game would let these be used.

Thanks for the help, this gave me alot more to look at. It does shoot rather strong. but it's intend for outdoor games, I wouldn't dream of taking this thing indoors. Still got a little while before I make an order. So I'm going to look at a few other guns too now.

AEGs in most outdoor games are restricted to 400FPS..

this REVOLVER.. not pistol
is way too hot to be gamed.

A revolver is a type of action, which happens to be on a pistol in this case, bro.

EDIT: clarification.

would it be allowed if you use it far far away?
like the limit for sniper rifles...
though it would be useless as a pistol at that point...

Where could one get a 8" SS357? buyairsoft.ca is out of stock and replicaairguns.com doesn't have skeleton sidearms? Is there a 8" chrome equivalent of another brand?

I'll quote what Dynamo said on a similar request:

Maybe would be good to do a little bump of the rules, even the major parts of the new member won't read them.

Just maybe the part of giving an warning for non-airsoft related post I would change (if it was me, but i'm no boss here). If i'ts placed in the good places and not everywhere on the forum I dont see any harm. My opinion

It's against the rules to tell a non-AVed member where to buy guns.

Quote:
8) No posting of guns or 18+ items outside of specified areas
There will be no posting of guns or other 18+ items for sale or looking for in Signatures or other areas where you don't need to be age verified. Items are to be sold in their proper locations. Guns go in the gun section, gear in the gear section, NAR in the NAR section.... Failing to do this will get you a warning, particularly with selling guns.

Your not AV so they can't give you a link where to buy it. Same for me I can't ask for a link until i'm AV,

SS and Dan Wesson among others rebrand this pistol.
WinGin is OEM
I do believe you can get shells/cartridges that lower the fps. They have a pin that restricts airflow.

I do own one and actually love it. Would never game it tho because of those damn fake bullets. Messing around with those things in the heat of battle is kind of a pain and are easily lost. If you're looking for a game pistol maybe have a look around?? If you just wanna plink pop cans and the like, I'd say get one. The double action is nice and reloads are fun with the simulated rounds. Spin the cylinder!!
