G&g m14 h.b.a (ebr)

Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with this gun, Performance, Visual ( From the internet pictures looks pretty good, but seen from the naked eye is always better) Upgradable ( How hard is it to upgrade, part availability, etc)

Just looking for some information on the gun from a users standpoint!

I havent had any experience with the EBR variant, but I did with the Walnut stock one!

Really nice guns, externals are spot on and feel really nice

Internally, they are a copy of the Classic Army design, which means that they will take mostly V2/V3 internals, and also that the mags are proprietary to CA and G&G.
Which makes them harder to find then TM ones (especially if you are looking for the midcaps)

If you get the EBR MAX, it shoots over 430fps out of the box. It comes with upgraded wiring, gears and (I think) tightbore barrel. It would really scream with a high-torque motor and a big lipo battery.

* People have taken this platform up to 600+fps. I suppose you could take it up to 650fps and use .43g BBs but what's the point?
* The bearing bushings *will* fail on you at those power levels, but will take solid bushings as a replacement.
* Generally takes standard Version 7 mechbox internals, minus the mags.
* External build quality is the best I've ever seen on an airsoft gun.
* It's heavy as hell and all at the front. Your reaction hand/arm will get a solid workout from merely shouldering the weapon for half an hour.
* The gun weighs almost 10lbs dry, add BBs, mag and battery and it'll be over 11lbs. Another lb or so for a scope or optic.
* If you're not over 6' tall, it would look ridiculous on you.
* It's not exactly a "high-speed" gun.

I own one and only take it out for special occasions. like weddings and such.

I appreciate you taking the time to share this info, but the one I am buying is a total stock one straight from G&G Idk if it has the TBB and upgrades you named above in it!

I was actualy thinking of installing a mosfet onto it that allows me the fire 1 bullet every 3 seconds, as if it was a BASR

I can't speak for the non-MAX version of the G&G EBR. I would assume it would have the same internals as the regular G&G M14s...

As for your questions, I'm not sure how relevant they are given that the internals of my EBR would be different from yours.

I'm waiting to blow my gun up until I open it up. Why replace perfectly-working parts? It already outshoots most guns on the field.
