Arrow TM HiCapa 5.1

I believe that i am going to purchase one of these guns. I am going to upgrade it once purchased so it will be compatable with Propane so far i am looking at the following items.

-Tanio Koba Piston Cup & Cylinder Return Spring. I have read about the HiCapa having problems with blowing out the O-ring, and this apparently alleviates this problem.

-PGC Aluminium Slide

-Guarder enhanced recoil and hammer springs

Is there anything else i should look at purchasing or is this sufficient to get a HiCapa running well with Propane?

My bud has one of these, it's stock (runs propane) and he loves it! Heck, I'm really impressed with how accurate and how much range he gets with it. Upgrading a sweet gun like that will only increase the drool factor! Go for it!

CDN_Stalker has your friend had any trouble at all with the gun running it stock with propane? I've read that quite a few people have had trouble with using it with propane without upgrading it a bit.

So far he's had it for a couple months, he was worried about using propane with it as well, but once he tried it, he loved the performance and the kick enough that he never went back to duster. From what I've seen him shoot, he's knocked off a few hundred BBs so far and his gun is fine. He plans to upgrade at somepoint anyways, so............. PM Droc on here and ask him what you like (even if it's PORN related!!!)

I havent had many problems untill recently. 2 or 3 games ago it was hot....like 37....40 with humidex...and I used propane. 1st shot went so hard the slide went back 2 far and didnt return right. still works fine, nothing is cracked, but now the slide sits back about 1-2mm to far and the flip up saftey doesnt properly engage. could be something minor, but myself and a few others been trying to figure it out.

Id recommend getting the full metal KJW one. its propane ready.

other then that, the hi-capa has an excellent action to it. it out-shoots a stock AEG in distance and accuracy easy, and the blowback is very satisfying.

Id look into the full metal ones before you try the TM one.

Droc, your o-ring has slipped off the piston head and is wedged at the rear of the blowback chamber. This is the propane problem that Matt_M was talking about.
