going to be at least $1500 in country.
Honestly, a fancy wooden box isn't worth that much to me. |

1400 USD, into 2012, and we're still looking at a KJW magazine design.

1400.00$......As much as i love airsoft that's way too much to pay for a replica. Might as well pay 1000.00$CDN for a colt 1911 real steel. Since a 1400$ gbb would never see games anyways.

....wow
Let me guess, internal parts are still going to break. They did it with M4, they will do again with 1911. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice... |

If the Phillipines can produce high quality real-steel 1911s at competitive pricing why can't Taiwan produce high quality airsoft that doesn't cost as much as an STI?

They have steel 1911 airsoft pistol from Taiwan before....works with KJ mags and costs fractions of this, but doesn't have the finish I guess as this...
At anyrate the following of this gun is pretty stupid, since their M4 as kull pointed out, touted all the same stuff(real steel construction, finish, reinforced internal...etc) and didn't exactly work out great.... Besides, steel 1911/2011 has existed for WA for a while now. Also costs ridiculous money, but WA system works better with the heavy weight of the steel slide, and can work without resorting to CO2 and their stupid looking CO2 mag and magwell... |

Try more like $2000+, if not $2500+ in Canada.

To an uninformed person like me, that picture looked much like they were selling a real pistol.
When I saw the price tag, I thought it was for a real steel o.o Then I read the rest of this thread.

A lot of airsoft looks very real...

But most airsoft boxes or advertisments say airsoft in a IMMEDIATELY noticable location.
Or have a list of stats that give away that it's an airsoft gun. Or maybe it's just me.

I think its necessary to conduct a salary survey on how much canadian airsofters earn annually..
recall what I read the survey on the british airsofters' income in 2010 ranging from 50 000-80 000 GBP,I think the conclusion also stated that the brits should deserve more lux airsoft guns. |
