Where to buy Krylon paint - sand colour
Anyone know any online stores(Canadian) or stores in Petawawa/Pembroke or Toronto that sell Krylon camo paint - sand colour?
I've looked in Canadian Tire and Wal Mart but they don't carry the sand colour, and they won't bring it in. Checked most of the retailors they carry Krylon off the Krylon website, and it seems all I can find is the same 4 colours, Brown, Olive, Khaki and Black. Anyone know of any retailors that do carry the Krylon sand colour? Or a similar spraypaint? - Not the Krylon Khaki as that is basically a dirty white. No joy at Home Depot either for the sand colour, for whatever reason the sand and woodland light green aren't stocked anywhere, at least in this area.

I spent months touring every hardware store in a 2 hour radius looking for sand coloured spray paint. Nothing came close.
I found the stuff below at Dave's Tactical. Maybe hit up Army Issue since they're at least in the same province as you now. http://www.aervoe.com/paints_coating...age-Paint.html

I've always used the khaki for my tan needs and it looks good to me.

My local Walmart has a surprisingly wide selection of colors, from hot neon pink to metallic gold, including matte military relevant colors.

if you still can't find anything Brownells has everything you could ever want to paint your gun with.

Bass Pro Shops sells a good set of gun enamels.
Hunter's Specialties Permanent Camo Paint - 12-oz. Aerosol The Marsh Grass is a pretty good tan, though it might also be lighter than you are looking for. |

the khaki paint from canadian tire is tan?? which is sand colour... if you think its too light try 2 coats and if you still want it even darker then that. shoot a coat of satin clear coat. hope this helpped.

Thanks Sean but I know the khaki pant is a tan/sand'ish colour, but I'm not looking for something that light/white'ish in colour, which is why I wanted the Krylon sand colour which is more yellow'ish. And I have tried more then one coat, etc it's not the colour I want to use to paint a helmet and NVG mount. Anyways, I ordered the Aervoe paint from Hero Army Surplus, so I'm good to go on the paint now.
