Lo/Mid Capacity Mags
Hello everyone,
I am new to airsoft, and can only seem to find hi-cap mags... does anyone know a good retailer that carries mags for the ICS-127 (M4 style) in the mid and/or lo capacity magazines. Thank you. |

Keep browsing around, they are very popular so retailers seem to go in cycles of gluts and shortages.
Many retailers will be stocking up on them to get ready for the upcoming summer season in March/ April. I can vouch for the metal King Arms (68rd) mags being quite good and well-priced at between $80 and $110 for a box of 5 mags. They are generally regarded to be a balanced deal and work with pretty much anything as far as I've read. Always double-check compatibility before you buy, and shop around before you punch in that credit card info. |

King Arms metal lows works perfectly in ICS guns.
MAG brand midcaps, STAR brand midcaps and ARES (basically the same) never wanted to work in mines. |

Not evike. Not for mags, not for anything. Search the forum to learn about them.

Get MAG mags, they are low price, feed very well, you dont care much if you lose one, they come in high capacity, but that just lets you load them to whatever you want, pending the game.

Don't forget the speed loader. Ever.
I recently spent over 20 minutes trying to load one freakin 50 rounds lo-cap by hand. What a pain! (I'm not very good with my hands) Also, on a side note, since mags with fake rounds are illegal to import, is that legal for retailers to import and sell? I ask this since I recently bought a lo-cap with fake bullets...

Importing an item and selling it is to different things.
They are legal to buy and sell.

I put my money on King Arms 68 round mags. They seem to have the best overall reliability and compatibility with different guns. I'm not sure what makes them work so well, but they do.
King Arms 120 rounders are good too, but they have feeding problems in some guns and require you to slightly modify the BB retainer (shave a bit off the tip) in order to get them to feed reliably in some guns. Otherwise, they work well. MAG brand are cheap, and for the most part reliable. But for some reason, they don't feed reliably in my ICS M4 or my custom C8 and I can't figure out why. If they work in your guns, then they're the way to go as they're dirt cheap. But your results with them may vary.

They are import prohibited, which means they are barred by administrative decree, not law. CBSA policy doesn't have an impact on criminal law, though it takes it's cues from it. |
