iBomb - Airsoft / PaintBall Edition

iBomb is made especially for people who play extreme sports like Paintball and Airsoft. The game simulates a time bomb where the user sets the timer and optionally a code which disarms the bomb. Other players must find and defuse the bomb before the countdown expires. The iBomb makes a distinctive “beep” sound as long as the bomb is armed, for other players to locate it. Also, there is a build in feature to keep the screen on all the time or you can just use the power save function to turn the screen off and leave the beep sound to lead your “enemies” to the bomb. iBomb can give scenario-based Paintball & Airsoft games, the feel of rush to find the bomb, find the password that defuses it and complete the mission before the blast! Beside adrenaline games, iBomb can be used also as a countdown timer for nearly everything that needs to be timed!
You can download this app by it’s name in App Store or by visiting iTunes

It probably wouldn't be a good idea to leave it unattended among many unknown players (in that case you may carry the bomb).
Among friends, i guess it wouldn't be a problem...

Add a clock/alarm feature to it, along with some problem solving puzzles and math questions, and I'd use this as a morning alarm clock.

If the only way to "disarm" the alarm is by solving puzzles, I guarantee my mind would be too awake to be able to snooze back to bed... LOL

Neat!

Super neat app! I'll get it for sure!

If you're looking for features, add-in a bomb network via BT or 3G. Sync time and they all blow up in the end!

Love the "puzzle to disarm" also!

Bomb network! Another great idea! It's hard for me to program that however it would be really cool!

I think this might work well as a "study" implement.. where you upload questions based on homework or something (test), and it won't stop going off until you get it right . (yes basically the same as the puzzle idea but with user configurable questions)

The idea is nice but i think i should make another version of my app (maybe a free one) and do not mix the target group of paintballers-airsofters with everybody else. What do you think?

I don't have a smartphone, but that'd be nice , but I feel like being unable to solve the problem, and having an alarm going off for a few hours while you get the answer, or you just pull out the battery... will be a deterrent to use the app or a incentive to study more...
