It looks like it has a few sharp edges on the rail. Does it have a good grip to it?

ya the grip is fine...When the rails aren't in use I use the rail covers...that way it doesn't skin the hand.

It sure adds some heft to the whole thing.

And the key to using the rails and keepingthe pupm fiunsctional is to mount them close to the fron of the RIS unit...thatway it stay out of the way of your hand.

ya the RIS is made for the benelli. its actually kinda heavy...makes te gun heafty...

Im thinking of adding a vert grip from an m4...may look kinda neato.

Yeah, I found it on WGC since bean posted... That's a pricey piece to stick on an M3. Looks great though.
