Vltor SCAR AR stock adapter, Tango Down Extended Modular Rail System.
After extensive attempts to locate retail purchasable Vltor SCAR AR stock adapter and the Tango Down Extended Modular Rail System I have come up empty. Many google search attempts have resulted in nothing but that same 5-10 forum posts with some mention of either but nothing to do with purchasing them. Both websites do not currently have them in their inventory but forum posts talking about them coming out in the next 8-12 weeks from over a year ago are abundant.
I will most likely contact both companies and ask them directly but any information on either products funcionality or availability would be appreciated. |

Emailed Vltor. They responded in 4 minutes O.o . Their SCAR AR stock adapter is still in pre production and looking at a few more months before its available. No ballpark price has been associated with it as of yet.

Tango Down finally got back to me with the disapponting response "Thank you for contacting us. We will be releasing several SCAR Hyperionaccessories in the very near future, however the EMRS is last up. Pleasecheck our website in the next few weeks for upcoming information." "EMRS" being the "extended modular rail extension".
Apply sad face now.

Yes it would be nice to see a company produce airsoft grade accessories for the SCAR platform. Being a fairly frugal penny pinching person it pains me to spend $200-$250 on a 5'' rail extension when the only purpose its serving for me is to hide a section of the extended outer barrel and be overall more aesthetically pleasing in my opinion(I find the SCAR-L to be unatractive with a barrel length that of the regular length(not CQC) or longer as the forward end of the upper receiver feels too short for my taste)
Would just be nice the buy a CNC alluminum replica that is still quality but not made to the same required quality standards as needed for a real rifle thus reducing the price 50% or more. Will be a while still before a wide selection of SCAR accessories become available though. You do have to consider its "newer" and less popular than say the AR variants. That being said though, one of the main reasons I went with the SCAR platform is because everyone and their mother has an M4/M16/416 or other variant, they're just way too common for my taste.
