Seeking GBBR Gundoc for paid repairs..
Hey ASC,
I'm looking for a local gun doctor to help me reseal or fix my G&P GBBR WA PMAG magazines and a single Prowin V2 GBBR WA magazine as they are all currently leaking. I'm in Markham/Toronto - so if you're able to help, please contact me with a time and price. Thanks!

I'm not sure. Most of the time it leaks from the vent at the top, and maybe once out of ten times, it'll leak out of the refill valve for some odd reason instead (one or the either and not both). I screwed it up by deciding to drop some silicon oil in the release vent thinking it'd be good for the magazine.
I'd bring it to you, but I think you're pretty busy still, lol.

If it's leaking from the outlet at the top, then chances are, your release valve is leaky. Either take it apart and see if it can be fixed, or just replace it altogether. I have replacement Prowin release valves available.
If you leave the mags stored without gas in it, the likelihood of leaks forming at the valves will increase. Keep them stored with oiled gas inside to keep the mag pressurized! If you never ask me, you'll never know! |
