WETTI M16A3 - Modding to a 6 position stock?
I am just fishing if anyone has actually tried this.
What I would like do is convert a WE-WETTI M16A3 into a C7 GBBR. I know this is a cliche mod on a Canadian site, but I'd like to try it at any rate. I have all of the parts necessary to ascetically convert it into a C7A1 (ELCAN, TRIAD, Amb-Mag Catch and Chalking handle); however if I could mount a 6 position stock I could fill in the blanks to make it an A2. From what I can tell the major work you would need to do is find and mount the buffer tube and stock off an M4 GBBR (either a stock WETTI M4 or try and frankenmod on a G&P one for a WA GBBR). Has anyone actually done this on a a WETTI M16? or converted an M4 with the M16 barrel and handgrip (which would have the opposite problem). I'm just fishing for ideas, or feedback if anyone has done this.

i just did this for somebody, its very simple, get a replacement GBBR buffer tube and replace the stock with it, for reference the specific stock I installed on the persons gun was a G&P XM177 stock
