Famas Tightbore barrel

Just wondering, would the SG1 or M16 Tightbore barrel work on a Famas SV?? I was told that the sg1 would fit just needs to be cut a few mm's.. Just want to know before i purchase it..

Famas barrel length= 472mm
SG1= 469mm
M16= 509mm

So basically, you could either just buy a barrel made for the SV, or choose from the others. There is only 3mm difference between the SV and SG1, so would seem to me the second choice.
