Tracer on a GBBR

Now I've googled this topic.
and so far i've only come across people having ccw to cw thread issues.
simple adapter fix for that.
and the other issue was with a TM tracer unit shutting off due to recoil.

I want to know if any of you have done it?
what are the issues you've come across?
will the gas or recoil damage the tracer unit after only a few shots?
Any recommendations on a brand of tracer?

No problems at all running my marui tracer unit on my GHK PDW. The recoil is pretty decent too, ran quite a few games now with no issues. You can watch it in action here.

The only problem I had with my tracer unit was it came loose due to the recoil of the GBBR, causing me to have to tighten it every 2 or 3 mags.

The other problem is the sili oil in the gas gunks up the tracer unit and may cause the sensor to not work properly. A quick wipe with a cleaning rod and it was good to go.

I ran my TM tracer on my KWA MP7. Shot fine with Mandbull .25 glow BBs.

It also ran with Excel and TM .20s but the heavier the better is my rule.

BB Bastard will be the next flavor to taste.

so seems as though
unit ; TM
bbs ; Madbull
issues ; loosening and gunking. basically keep a cleaning rod handy and use teflon tape/locktite

^I have the same/similar setup: been using a TM tracer on my KWA MP7 for over a year now. No issues to speak of.
