Classic army slr 105 u 74 magazine compatibility?

I bought the classic army slr 105 u steel version and I bought MAG brand AK74 magazines and sadly it didn't fit very well. I grind down the MAG brand mags but they don't touch the hopup very well unless I pull the magazine closer to the receiver.

Now I'm wondering what are good brand magazines that fit & feed in the classic army slr 105 u steel version.

I don't wanna hear facts, I wanna know if it works for your CA AK74 steel series.

Your king Arms mags fit? Did you shave them down?

MAG brand ak74 magazines work in my CA SLR105 steel version without any need for modification...

Don't shave the mags down--reef on them and they should click into place. After a few reloads with each mag, the plastic will be worn down perfectly.

Or maybe I did - we'll probably never know! I can supply a pic so you can see exactly where the wear should be.

I have 2 CA SLR 105s. One black polymer/steel and the other is a wood/steel. Both are the full stock and outer barrel versions, not the compact ones.

MAG brand mags fit into mine if I shave down the angled section above the mag catch alot. Aswell as just making the area below the mag catch a little lower. (Seems to help me keep reloads fast and consistent.) Otherwise its unnecessarily hard to put it the mag in. I could take pics if needed.

I actually recently bought Cyma AK 74 mags and they fit and feed very well with no modification. They actually look are a little nicer designed and have a better finish. (Finish is not always consistent on every mag.) I got them off of AirsoftGear and they were fairly expensive, but worth it for me.

Off topic I have a VFC AKS-74UN which feed from any of the AK mags I have perfectly. (Even the unmodified MAG ones.)
