1mm allen key??

Good afternoon!

I'm trying to take apart a Vfc scar-l gear box to put a slower spring in but there's a spot on the exterior of the mech box with the gear selector guide where it looks like a 1mm or 0.5 mm allen is needed... question is... where do i get one?

thanks!

If you can't find one locally a set like this has those sizes: Amazon.com: Neiko Tools USA 30 piece SAE and Metric Combination Hex Key Set: Home Improvement

Probably a stupid question but are you sure it's not 1/16" or .050"? I've seen stranger things... Even if everything else on the gun is metric...

1/16 is smaller, you best compatibale was 3/32 but even that will strip it pretty quick.

The small screwdriver sets you can get at most computer stores has a wide set of tiny allen keys.

Thanks for the replies!

I'm going to stop my adventure of how to ruin a mechbox and pay a gundoc to downgrade the spring.

On that note anyone know a gun doc in the that can change out a spring by June 4? The zombiez must die by a Scar!

It's actually an imperial allen key, .050", smaller than 1/16"
I've got one in my bondhus allen key set

Have any of you seen a set of these where the metric allen keys are longer than the imperial?
