You are comparing an R&D'ed retail product to someone's personal modification, which was probably done with nothing more than tools at home and some serious effort. You're an idiot.

FYI its a WA magazine, some folks got it and use it on GGI, they claim to be drop resistant, its not a metal P-mag.

real p-mags are not even metal...

this will be interesting to see. I assume that most of the internals will be swappable with upgraded WA parts.

interesting, hope the lower parts are not made of pot metal. I am kinda expecting a full steel internal for this one.

if its like the hk416 its going to be aluminium, high grade aluminium with some steel part (if they're small)

how is this a proper GBBR ACR? they just did what that other guy did, take a PTS ACR and cut it up and throw in some basic parts. the only difference is that they made their own parts instead of modifying WE parts.

D, Magpul PTS has been hinting a GBBR drop kit for a long time... before the AEG was release

Looks like a really big bolt, maybe heavy.
Not good for gas consumption.

i know that, and they have been stuck in development for a good while now.
the ACR presented by IronAirsoft is the PTS AEG that had the top of the mag well milled off along with the ribs inside the lower to make room for the trigger block and magazine. it's what that other guy did with the ACM ACR and the WE SCAR internals. if anything, this shows that a direct drop-in kit wont be possible. if and when magpul does release anything for the ACR GBBR, it'll have to be a full conversion kit ie: new lower and new barrel/hop-up chamber minimum. personally i think they will just scrap the kit idea and release a complete gun on its own, as i believe after all the parts are replaced to make it into a GBBR, the only thing left will be the stock and hard guard. i have a PTS ACR with me and it has a 2.5mm rail running down both sides all the way down the length of the upper that will not allow the guide rails for the carrier to be mounted without milling them off.

i don't care what other may think of Magpuls ACR GBBR, if you have to cut/chop/sand/drill/mill any part of the original components to make into a GBBR, it no longer is a drop-in conversion, it's an out right modification, and a permanent one at that.

As long as I can properly shoot 30 BBs and have a reasonably good kick, that's worth the gas waste.

Perhaps WE should put some of that R&D money towards their QA team instead.
