KSC M945 Compact - Slide safety does not work.
When I engage the safety with the hammer cocked, giving the trigger a slightly-heavier-than-usual pull causes the hammer to snap forward, hit the gas valve, fire off any chambered BB and leaves the valve open.
It does stop the slide from cycling, but I'm pretty sure that the safety's supposed to stop it from firing at all. |

Airsoft safeties aren't the greatest and can usually be overcome by force, just like you're saying.
Just don't pull the trigger with the safety on (and possibly damage/break your gun in the process) |

It's... bothering me...
Whenever I take the gun to do some plinking in the basement, the fact that the safety doesn't work properly nags at me. It has the same effect on me as learning that old Western gunfighters regularly went with only 5 chambers because safeties back then didn't exist. Is there any way to tighten it up?
