Just a bit interested in shotguns mainly for fun. Looking for ones that shoots 3 bbs, isn't terribly expensive, reliable, metal receiver is preferable, but not necessary. Any good models that I should keep an eye out for?

UTGs are pretty good in that direction, Crosman makes a decent clone, Remington makes great shotties

REMINGTON doesn't make Airsoft guns, the only shotguns that Remington makes is .410Ga and above

Seriously, no offence but stop talking out of your ass and research

As for good shotguns, TM makes good ones, not too sure about the more recently available choises

Smith&Wesson don't manufacture crapsoft either, someone pays to put the company's logo on the crapsoft

It looks pretty cool, however I think I'd have more fun with a multi-shot shotgun, something like a DE M56 ;D

Then go get a DE M56, you asked for opinions, we didn't ask for yours. The TM's are all Multi shot, as are their clones (I assume you mean multiple barrels, each firing a projectile, as airsoft guns work on a different principle from real guns)

No complaints on the Crossman clone.
Picked it up used from a buddy, used it a few times here and there.

Sometimes see them pop up on the classifieds for cheap, or pick it up on sale at CT yourself.

Doubt you'll see any at the convention, AFAIK - No retailers there will be stocking any.

Well, SniperSam suggested a single barrel shotgun, so I merely blabbed a multibarrel model name off the top of my head as an example. I have no idea what's good or not, that's why I'm asking you guys, sorry for the confusion I may have caused

Externals feel cheap on the Crossman clone such as the rubber on the grips and pump. The screws strip so easily as well if you plan on taking it apart.

I did try the S&W re branded of some Chinese company M3 clone TM shotgun and the externals feel so nice but the screws strip so easily as well.

The UTG shotgun clone I wasn't a fan of the rubber on the grips and pump but I'm not sure if it's me but the weight feels more heavy. (I didn't get a chance to take it apart, since it's my friends shotty).

This may be the nooby tank, but you should still take the time to do research like other people, the nooby tank is no excuse for ignorance and laziness. There are multiple inner barrels in an airsoft gun to simulate buckshot (If you have no idea about shotgun ammunition types, drag your ass to google and look something up for once), the ammount of "Barrels", IE Double, single, whatever, has little to do with the amount of "shot" coming out of your gun in the airsoft world

I see. Well I've been told that multi-barrel that shoots 1 bb per "barrel" gives the best performance.
