KJW M4 mags not holding gas

Hey there,

I'm a pint new to GBBs in general, but when I try to fill my KJW M4 magazines, gas simply vents and the mag doesn't take in any gas what so ever. Am I just not pushing down into the mag hard enough with the propane tank?

For the moment, I'm using an AI gas gun kit and a coleman's propane tank. Right now, it's happening with all 4 of my mags, so any chance it's the propane tank? If so, how do I check?

Is there a checklist of sorts of problems/solutions (I.e do I have to take apart the whole mag to check to O-rings and such?)

Many thanks in advance,
Smitico

How are you filling them?

It should be like this;

Red = gas can

blue = upside down magazine.

Many thanks there guys for the link and help.

I've been filling thme as shown in the AI gas gun instructions so at least I know I've been doing that fine.

I'll try taking apart one of the mags when I get home and see about fixing the leak.

I had 4 out of 6 leaking at one point in time and I just oiled the o-rings up.
Made sure to keep gas in them while storing them, I would also refill them
every once in a while so that the o-ring wouldn't dry out.

Problem with GBBR's is maintenance.
You got to spend a lot of time with them.
