Why didnt you check this out before placing the order? Common sense seems to be a thing of the past I guess.

Check the CBSA website.

First $50-60 is exempt from taxes duties, the rest duties and taxes will apply therefore you're looking at paying duties/taxes for $590-600.... However as with those crafty Asian retailers you're really only looking at paying $300-350 worth of duties at most (if that *wink* *wink* *nudge* *nudge*)

should come in marked as "gift" so you shouldn't get raped to bad in taxes/duty

Gifts over $65.00 CDN are subject to tax and duty as well as handling fees. Expect to pay the full amount owed every time you place an order. IF you don't then thats a gift but expect to pay it every time.

The kicker with this is, if you got insurance on your shippment and ordered a high dollar amount worth of merchandise and they put the value as only being $10, you're shit out of luck if it goes missing!

Well I had the choice to pay for a 2$ insurance and I didnt asked for them to lower the declared price... I would be very pissed to get only 10$ back from a 200$ order

I examined my package and it looks like its a stamp they used with all the information already filled up ( The X in the "gift" area, the 10$ value, etc)

Maybe they just ship every package with the same declared value (Which I think is VERY VERY NICE)

BTW I strongly recommend airsoftpark, everything went very smooth and quite fast FREE shipping for the holidays!

Yep, dealt with Float/Ryan on 3 different occasions and another person who goes by the name "Trina". Great customer service and speedy too. Just a question did you guys get a thick cardboard box that was stapled with a box stapler and sealed up nice and well with lots of packing tape? That I think is a really nice touch compared to something you'd expect from a retailer like that and definitely sets them apart from other retailers (compared to something like a super thin cardboard box with just packing tape to seal it or worse yet a manilla bubblewrap lined envelope).

Just to let you know, you're the one that will be charged for undeclare item. It's tax evasion.
$650 expect $37.50 and if there's any fabric, you maybe subject to tariff.

Its free shipping order in smaller amounts next time, however often they do not mark the correct value.

what about the brokerage though, this place looks like a great company to order from but won't the delivery companies just kill your bank account with brokerage fees?
