DIY?
for those of you who do not know what DIY stands for:
Do It Yourself so, i was just wondering, where does the ASC community stand when it comes to DIY airsoft. is it frowned upon? for instance a DIY tracer units, "smart" gearboxes (IC chip monitored, but home brewed) input would be amazing. cheers shell shock |

No issues with DYI here. Some of the coolest products available started as a DYI here. So long as it's safe and legal, it's fine.

Ahem, look in the upgrades and modifications section. Many of us on here have tinkered with pet projects over the years. Everything from bastardizing our ARs, to tinkering with full auto GBBs. For the most part ASC generally likes to do DIYs on our stuff.

DIY's are quite fun
Made this Suppressor/sight combo a couple months back, makes the MK1 incredibly quiet. |

Check Arnies, there's a whole forum section on DIYs.
And real ones, not just sanding this one part to make full auto. Like, whole gun made by hand. It's awesome.
