JG's are very decent guns. It won't disappoint you (as long as you realize it has a plastic body, etc).

JG are hit and miss unfortunatly. I love my JG G3 but JG plastic mp5s are GARBAGE. I could not believe the difference in QC. It was jawdropping the lack of quality. I liked their m4's better than the mp5s but love their G3 the most.

there pretty decent guns just dont trust the potmetal front sling mount. Possibly the worst metal on earth.

Agreed. I've had some awesome JGs but I've also had lemons that never worked right out of the box.

It's pretty "meh". Good for a loaner/backup but if you're thinking of making it your "tried and true" primary you're in for a disappointment (not really disappointing, a little less than that actually). Better to use it as a backup and game your GBBR (dude it's a GBBR, it's just so awesome, you should game it as your primary until it breaks mid day and then switch to your backup).

Still, I assume you've already scoured the classifieds/AV retailers? If not then I suggest that you do some comparison shopping.

PS: Don't get me wrong JG is a pretty good company (at least they are now) but at the same time there's always better available for a little bit more (hell you may even be able to score a deal in the classifieds).
