CO2 adapter for GBB mag possible?
I would like to know if you can use a CO2 adapter to fill a greengas/propane magazine?
And if not, why not? Thinking of buying this: http://www.airsoftpost.com/product_i...ducts_id=31422 unfortunately it states: not ok to use on gbb.... what do they mean, not ok to use on gbb weapons? or not ok to use on gbb magazines? Because some gbb weapons take co2 magazines, so I suppose they mean gbb magazines? But if you set the psi right, (wich psi value is good?) you can also use this? thx! When they say GBB is no go, its because the magazine can't handle the pressure of CO2.
CO2 is approx. 800 psi at SATP, Propane is 130psi, HFC134a is around 80 do the math. If you want to ask what PSI, it wou ld be around 150 MAX. Personally I would just change the fill valve and hook up a hose if you want to shoot indoor. See RA-Tech they have one of those. |

Propane magazine seals cannot contain the outward pressures exerted by CO2. All the seals and valves will blow before you obtain a usable volume of CO2 in the mag.
The GBB's that can shoot with CO2 have specific CO2 mags that use a 12 gram cartridge. They are not filled up with a CO2 tank like you do propane. |
