TM Desert Warrior 4.3 (1911) TRIGGER PROBLEM with vid

VIDEO OF PROBLEM HERE: YouTube - PB041860

Hey guys
I'm having problems with the trigger on a Tokyo Marui Desert Warrior 4.3 i just got in.

What will happen is the gun will fire but after firing, if i pull the trigger again it just clicks instead of firing. Then its as if the trigger sets itself again and the next trigger pull will fire properly. then the next trigger pull will just click again and so on...

some more details:
Brand new Tokyo Marui Desert Warrior 4.3
Using air duster for gas

Heres the video again
the first few shots are with BBs, the last few are just dry firing while holding down the slide lock
YouTube - PB041860

thanks in advance for any help

EDIT: it doesnt have this problem when cocking the gun manually and pulling the trigger.

ever disassembled it? this is a common problem arising from an improperly installed leaf spring

if you dont know how, punch the pin out from the back of the grip, remove the spring housing from the bottom, remove the silver spring plate, then bend the prong forwards, to reinstall you will have to remove the SAFETIES TO GET tHE SPRING IN RIGHT, TAKE SHE SLIDE OFF AND THEN PULL THE SAFETY UP AS FAR AS IT WILL GO, IT SHOULD THEN SLidE OUT,, then remove the beavertail and replace the leaf spring, sorry some of that was in caps but im too tired to re type it :@

Remove the slide and safeties to install the leaf spring? Really?

When you reinstall the leaf spring just make sure that the right prong rest on the disconnector, while the middle prong rest on the sear.

I've never had to pull off the safeties and beavertail to reinstall a leaf spring.

takes a bit of fidgeting, but the beavertail will rotate up even further, so you don't need to take it or the safeties out.

it is MUCH easier to properly reinstall the leaf spring with the beavertail off, with it on, its much more likely for a noob to put the prongs in incorrectly, he got lucky though

No, its not... Takes less time to do it with the beavertail still on. A little more fiddling yes, but if you know what you're doing, its much, much faster. And this guy was given good advice on how to install his leaf spring.
