WE Hi Cappa 3.8 Recoil Spring Guide Plug Breaking...
I'm having troubles again, but this time the recoil spring guide seems to be cracking:
 I desperately tried soldering it from inside, but it wouldn't stick :banghead: I'm not that creative either which leads me to the conclusion that I may have to buy this part from somewhere. If there are any MacGyvers who are able to drop in a few hints that would be appreciated, otherwise I'm looking for (and struggling with great difficulty) for Hi Capa 3.8 compatible parts. |

have you tried JB Weld?
Might wanna think about replacing it altogether and ya im in the same boat for WE 3.8 Parts as well Although some good news apperantly alot of the parts are the same as the 4.3 and the 5.1 so you might luck out and it might be one of the compatible parts. Lost my front sight and have been searching for almost a year 8(

I tried JB weld, it worked for 8 mags worth of shooting, then it broke. I don't know if it was the result of me doing the job poorly, I ended up buying a new slide out of frustration (couldn't buy the spring recoil guide plug itself). The plug came with it alongside a very nice looking slide.
Slide was ~$50 |
