MS2 Sling from Magpul fits WE Scar? - see pics
Hi,
I was wondering if the MS2 sling from Magpul would fit the WE Scar? I would use it as a single point sling, but I am afraid that the metal of the sling will not fit good thru one of the 2 holes at the leftside rear of the Scar.... See, they are very small.... Now I have a G&P USMC Type Bunch Sling, but it doens't fit well thru those holes Will I have the same issue with the Magpul sling? Thx! |

My MS2 seems a bit thinner than your G&P sling, but I don't know if I'd fit.
Maybe you could link it to a ring like you see on keychains? Or a paracord loop. Because if the MS2 even fit, I doubt it could move freely.

Install a split ring or a paracord loop and it fits fine.. I use one

The MS2 may be even thicker than yours because of the snap shackle (you have to use that end if you're going to use the sling as a 1 point sling):
As others have suggested, I'd use a paracord loop (I'd use it even if the sling hook did fit, to keep it quiet rather than have metal-on-metal clinging when you move).
