What to use for a ghille mask...?

I just recently created a homemade ghillie top but I need to create a head piece to finish it off. Im trying to figure out what to use....a ball cap? ski mask? Whats the best suggestion other than a boonie.

Boonie/bush hat is the best seperate option. You can also attach extra netting to the body of your suit , enough to cover your head/face.

Could one be made with a baseball hat though? Like would it work? And is there anything else that would work decently well?

Any kind of hat would work. Boonie is better as it has a brim al the way around to attach netting to and keep it off you.

Camo helmet cover, with netting attached to it and the back attached to your ghillie. Or, a boonie hat with netting attached to it, a camo bandana attached to the back of it (to keep the burlap fibers from falling on your neck and down your shirt). Really not a lot of other options that are functional and comfortable.

BTW, if you go for a hat, cut out the top of it for ventilation.

Use a boonie hat.

Create a heavy fabric covering around the back of the neck and sides. Then use an thin Olive Drab cloth that has holes in it. (Like the kind you would see in Laundry Bags). Smear some camo on your face and you should be good to go.

If you want, the next game you come to, I will show you mine. Or I can just take pictures.
