Initial experience with them is very disappointing. I've only tried 1 of 7 mags that was ordered for my 2009 Enhanced version. Why didn't I order the WA Super mags when they were in stock at eHobby!!!!!
Problems encountered so far. - BBs are misfeeding. I'm getting about 25% chopped bbs with a full mag. I can only load 42 bbs in the mag. That's 10 bbs per mag that causes jams that requires me to pick out the debris in the gun. One time, the chopped bb got trapped between the nozzle which took me about 5 mins to clear out. -BBs in mag gets jam and will not move up. Even banging the mag will not release the stuck bbs. 2-3 times per mag. -Bolt stop does not engage with empty mag. Looks like the lever is too low in the mag to push the bolt stop to engage the bolt. -Mag is really tight in the mag well. Needed to sand down the Pro-Win plastic logo to let some play between the mag and mag well. -The paint wears off fast on the mags. These ain't no PTW mag quality. -Bottom of mag has sharp machine finishing. Needed to put a Magpul onto the mag to prevent ripping skin or gloves up. -A real pain to load bbs. Nothing works to load bbs into mag. Have to load by hand one by one. Only thing good so far. They have not leak yet.

haha, I'll stay away from prowin mags then....
I hate my 1st gen one now... :S PS: I was thinking about the King Arms one, or the Bomber ones or the G&P ones.... how are those mags in your opinion? Last edited by Gunny_McSmith; October 17th, 2010 at 09:26.. |

Sorry. These are the only mags that I have purchased for my Inokatsu. There are several RA-Tech and G&P upgrades I would like to install in the gun before I can try to fix the problems with the mags. Hopefully I can have a decent working GBBR before next season.

If anything try use King Arms they don't leak, just watch for fill valve (they didn't have o-ring in the fill valve)
Pro-Win are kinda love hate relationship. some people got really good result, others beyond crap. |

Bomber has a weak fill valve and release valve so yeah... G&P I've heard leak all over the place If you really want something that will work, GHK will do, without leakage. (Kinda sound like diaper I know) |

In my Inokatsu:
Bomber mags - Fit is excellent. Feed is excellent. Gas mileage is so-so. On semi, it's great. With short 3-round bursts, it's ok. In auto, cooldown is pretty extreme. The only mags I've tried that the bolt catch actually works with, provided there's enough gas left at the end of the mag to actually cycle the bolt carrier far enough back to lock it. The fill valves leak like a sieve. 2 of my 4 mags leaked out of the box. The other 2 developed their leaks within a few fills. No amount of lubing can fix them, and haven't been about to find replacement valves that will work with them. WA Super - Fit is superb. Ok gas mileage, although the Bombers are better overall. Less cooldown though, and more consistent for the first 20-30 rounds or so. After that, they're pretty useless. It's pointless to fill them with 50 BBs as you won't get 50 shots off even in semi. Better paint finish and more solid feel. Bolt catch never works. The "valve catch" or whatever it's called has no bearing like the Bomber. After a few uses, those little levers are all worn to shit because they're cheap, low grade pot metal. All my fill valves have also developed leaks even worse than the Bomber mags. They're a waste of money IMO considering their high price. I'm very, very disappointed in them. I haven't tried any other mags to date.

I'll try the new V2 G&P mags for now I think.... (buying 2, I'll report back when I receive them) They are supposed to be Propane ready now...lol PS: I heard that you had to mod the magwell a bit for GHK mags, so meh...lol For now it will be G&P or king arms |
