TAD Gear, where to buy?

Hey guys,

I'm looking into purchasing a TAD GEAR Recon hoodie V5.0, since now that they are restocked on their own website so I thought I might as well.

Then comes the internet reviews and I see that it takes them months to process and ship their orders?

So I was looking for an alternative place to purchase their item from(Ranger Hoodie will do too). Preferably in Canada, which I've searched with no turn ups, and even the US would be a good choice.

If anybody knows of a good retailer I can purchase TAD items from, I would appreciate it if you could share it

Thanks! and fuck clones.

I got my stealth in two weeks with usps shipping. Most of the hold up was with customs.

I would have went with that but it lacked a hood which I am a very big fan of. If Arcteryx makes a hooded softshell in black I would be all over it.

We use to carry it along with a few other US dealers. The problem lay in the fact that by the time the dealers got the product, TAD had discontinued it, dropped the prices and cleared it out.

It left the dealers only able to sell their inventory after TAD was sold out.

SOCINCO - where did you get your Arc'teryx from?

You can get the Combat Jacket for $250USD from Grey Group Training. Not exactly LEAF pricing but close enough.

I most certainly do not agree with the way TAD releases there gear. They release in small batches knowing that they will sell out quick. When you have a product sell out in the first day its released it must say something. However they do produce a quality product and my year of waiting for the Stealths to go back in stock was worth it. That said Arcteryx also makes a terrific product and will be seeing more business from me in the new year.
