Most effective non-digital camo?

In terms of effectiveness, versatility, looks, and anything else you which to mention, what is most effective non-digital pattern? Also pick various patterns for various environments

Personally im inclined to say m81 woodland or dpm seeing as their extremely alike or even tiger stripe or OD (what I plan on buying) for woodland. I think OD is the most effective personally, but thats just me.

As for desert, iam a fan of the six colour desert, as well as the 3 colour and dpm is probably the best in my opinion.

I would have to say either a flecktarn dot type of pattern or the m84. But tiger stripe and DPM works good aswell. Swedish m90 splintercam looks effective too, and i really like the Czech type of woodland

I love my Tru-Spec multicam. Solid, comfy, and pretty. Doesn't fade much (or less apparant) compared to my green camo.

Anything without hard edges.

Flecktarn, M84, Vegetato, etc.

As for desert, I have no experience.

My team (not SIR right now) is going entirely Tigerstripe. Not neccessarily for the reasons of camoflage, although its rather good at that in the right environment, but to do what uniforms were created to do. Aid in recognition of friendlies.
Locally many groups use Marpat, Flecktarn, Woodland, you name it. Nobody is using Tigerstripe.
Staying hidden is important, not getting lit-up by friendlies is even more important.

Here are some nice comparisons of digital, non-digital and solid.

That helps to an extent. Should have done more varied environments though.

Not sure about anybody else but I find when both digital and flecktarn fade it looks terrible.

Ive always wanted to take a white shirt, dig a hole and put some leaves and tree limbs in there and than burry the shirt in it for a few days and see what it looks like when it comes out. haha

I love the m90 camo except I find it to be a little harder to come by than others.
