MP5's with no semi auto

So I picked up some mp5's and none of them will shoot in semi auto
I was told the sears have snapped and this is why there is no full auto.

So my question is what part is needed to be replaced to get semi auto back?

I have looked around on airsoftparts.ca and can't really seem to figure out if its just the selector plates that need to be replaced or if something else need to be replaced.

Any advice would be great
Thanks

There's no sear in an AEG....could be anything from the selector plate to the cut off to the switch assembly to a tiny spring.

Research on how to take it apart...working on a V2...and dive in on one of them.

Is it a cheap chinese MP5? (Well/Aftermath, early JG MP5s, CYMA,...)
If yes, my guess is that the pot metal cut-off lever broke.

I have ripped them all apart but just wasn't sure what to be looking for to get semi to work

guess I will get new selector, cut off and go from there see what that does.

once I find what will work on one I will just replace the same thing on all of them

Still have parts kicking around? lol

you can play with the stuff yourself to find out whats wrong instead of buying all new parts.

well I know semi doesn't work on them and have tore them apart and rebuilt them adding new internals as needed.

But I will need to buy to parts to get them working on semi again so its just a matter of what parts to buy.
