Paracord Bracelets

It seems like the new hip thing is paracord bracelets. Up to 24 ft (wide version) or 16 ft (standard version) of 550 Paracord on your person at all times. Anyone out there rock one? I just ordered mine from http://www.survivalstraps.com
They're quite expensive at about $33 CAD including shipping - but they will replace your bracelet for free if you ever need to unravel it for an emergency situation.

Here's another site that sells paracord bracelets for $10 and $12 USD.

I made mine. I bought 2x 50 feet of 550 paracord at my army surplus, and a ITW nexus buckle, and made mine, with the technique called "Cobra Double Stitching". Pretty easy, and much less expensive.

Those things are a dime a dozen overseas.

Quite simple to make yourself, you can find the pattern online easily.

This is a very interesting thing, and the best thing about it is that it's very useful. If we'll think about it from the point of survival, then we'll see that some small bracelet can save the most valuable thing you have - your existence. Thanks for the information. I will definitely make such a bangle for me.

Gucci-cord?

I've gone a little paracrazy. Everything that can have para-cord on it does

I find this fad funny.
I always have a roll of paracord in my gear. Costed me 5$ for probably 100fts and it's neatly coiled in and ready to use. I won't feel bad for undoing a fancy bracelet if I ever need it.

I actually have a belt made with para cord in that same pattern, I made it when I was in cadets years ago. Maybe ill undo it and shorten it to a bracelet. The whole belt only took 60 min to do and I was 12 at the time, save money, make one yourself!

Yah I've made one of these, my first attempt was way to short for my wrist so I turned it into a key chain fob!
