Slim G36 mags

^^ Do they exist? I would really like mags that I can put in my vest without having to buy the adapter.

Cut off the tabs?
Other than that, no.

easy just buy m4 mag pouches desing to hold 3 mags and that do not rely on rubber bands to hold the mags in ad run 2 g36 mags in each pouch. I've use HSGI trippe mag pouches to that effect.

I've stuck a single G36 mag in my double M4 mag pouch, it always gets snagged on the elastic because of the tabs. Breaking/Sanding off the tabs isn't a bad idea if you don't mind not being able clamping 2 together.

Or change out your magwell and put in a M4 magwell adapter and use M4 mags.

I've done that above, you have to be a bit careful with these magwell converters and what M4 mags you use. I bought a SocomGear one that broke when there was a bit too much wobble because my KA mags didn't fit all that well so the feed "lip" snapped. Found the now rare PrivateParts converter, much much more solid but it didn't fit half my mags. Finally bought 1 from UNCompany made by Classic Army, fits nice with no wobble, feels solid, no feeding issues to report any of my mags. The only one that doesn't fit is my PMag but thats no big deal.

Huh, maybe I'll have to try the CA one. I have yet to get ANY M4 mags to feed in the SocomGear adapter I have.

What about feeding? Any issues with the converter?

Stay away from SOCOM Gear..utter garbage on most of their line of "accessories".

The one above is a Battleaxe and those are Pro-arms magazines. No feed issues.

I have 3 spare of those things, dang kiddies ordered them and then backed out of the deal. PM if you want one...cheap.

Installed the Star one on my rifle last week.

MAG brand mags feed perfect, TM feed perfect, KA feed perfect and CA feed perfect (all the mags I have right now to test).

The feed tube is cast metal instead of molded plastic and can be removed and taken appart if something jams or gets dirty. Nice feature in my opinion.

Oh, metal mag catch too. locks positive every time. I filed the underside round because inserting the mags was a pain from factory.
